Anyone dealt with 4wd systems?

Short version of the story, ordered a lokka front locker on BA's behalf and was told it could take up to three weeks. Now almost six weeks later they are telling me it'll be at least another week.

Apart from the fact that I have not had a single courtesy call from them, the doubling of the lead time is really annoying as I'd originally told BA three weeks.

Is this normal for them?

I will say that when I got through to them today, the guy on the line was pleasant and courteous.

Apparently they have a major shortage and are on a month or so back order. It's not just you, no one can get their hands on a lokka

I am so dissapointed and will never buy from this business again.

Superior engineering are a bit pricey with postage but they are efficient and I got my part less than 24hours later.

Could have had the Spartan Locker here in a week.

Superior dont have any. I called them this morning chasing one, they buy them from 4x4 systems. And so do a couple other 4x4 shops I spoke to today.

Howdy, sorry I didn't give you a bell with the news, got stuck on the install from hell today, eleven hours worth. Barely got time to call them up.
Got in two hours ago and FOOD!!!

Its not so much that it is taking this long ,Peter and I are use to this as we are both shooters and stuff can be on order for 6 months easy.

More that they say one thing and keep you trailing along, I would rather hear the truth and make an informed decision.

Yeah, if they'd said two months or that they had no idea you could live with that.
You could either order knowing you'd be waiting a while or you could look elsewhere.

Could have ordered a Detroit locker from Just Differentials in the USA and had it shipped here already!
Crappy customer service not to let you know.

Is there another option and that is to ask for a refund, they cant say no because they offered a service and didn't commit to it.
