Hi Guys,

Just wondering how hard would it be to replace the bulb that sits behind the aircon button as mine has gone out and i would like to replace it.

Thanks

G,day. Crazy, I couldn't find one anywhere, but I live in a small isolated town, so I cheated and pulled a globe out of an old cassette/radio.

thanks madnut, but what i am looking for is some help with determining how much time would i spend it taking the whole area apart for a little globe.

Easy to change, I changed mine to an led. It's the t3 version listed in this link.

Sorry, bloke, misread your post. I have a GQ, so it wasn't a hard job. X2 fitting an LED. should never have to do it again.

Nissan don't sell the bulb, only a complete wiring harness with two bulbs for the a/c and recirc. Last priced at around $50. Me thinks the LED bulb is the better option.

I just picked up the rig about 3 weeks ago and yeah its out of warranty.

Thanks for the answers all, i will strip it apart on the weekend and then look at getting the LED bulbs for both the aircon and recirculating buttons so I dont need to go back in there again.
