Just bought a 00 3.0 l diesel .am I in for any problems.keep on getting worried looks when I tell people.engine sounds good

Welcome mate. Unfortunately you have bought primo grenadeo...
There are some thinks which we call NADS (Nissan anti detonation system, seach it, heaps of info here) which aid in monitoring and controlling the engine to try and stop the pop.
Its quite a simple concept and can be done by anyone half mechanically minded, just cost a little bit..

So jump on in mate, read up and any questions feel free to ask..

Hi mate and welcome, Yeah you'll need to NAD your 4x4.
First you'll need EGT and boost guage fitted in a pod of your choice.
