Hi, I have just borrowed a multimeter as I think my alternator is playing up. I have a 9 month old battery and now it is going flat. The missus has been driving the car for the past few weeks and now it has sat for about 5 days but now wont start without a jump. She doesn't know what the dash volt gauge was reading so I don't know if it has been charging while driving. So I would like to know how to use the multi meter to test the alternator. Any help much appreciated. Also the only things off the battery are the winch, uhf and arb fitted compressor.
