Hello. My name is Rod, I'm a retired Viet vet living in Maleny, Qld. My interests are 1. Golf, 2. Caravanning, 3. Dinig out, 4. O'Seas travel.
I am on my 4th Patrol in 5 years and use them mainly for caravanning. The last van was a 26ft Jayco and I only got 25 ltr/100k's so am interested in installing a Chip. The ebay item for $149.00 sounds like it might be worth a go. The Co. in Germany has sent installation instruction but since I'm not a mechanic I will need more help. Any ideas or diagrams ??
It is a 3 ltr common rail turbo auto.
Regards
Rod

Rod,
welcome to the nut house mate.
4 Patrols in 5 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 25 Ft. vans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bloody hell mate, I've heard about a consumer society but this is really going big time! That's more weight, mass, length, models and variety than I've had jocks.
Be patient though, with this bunch of gurus, you'll get there and probably enjoy the trip on the way.
All the best
Col.
