Rainbow beach burrum heads

Hay everyone coming back up from sunny coast next week just wondering how to get onto rainbow beach from the south and what's around burrum heads bundy in camping and 4wding thanks

IMO, your best bet is Rainbow Beach rd, or travel up Teewah beach depending on where you wish to visit.

Cooloola Way ,is a dusty corrigated road, that turns to a mud pit/water crossing track in the wet, so keep that in mind.




You dont need a permit to just travel from Rainbow beach township down the beach a "few Ks", to get to Double island point or Teewah beach you WILL need a permit, (no dogs allowed, even in cars in some areas)


As a general rule ,Rainbow beach is LOW tide ONLY, do not underestimate this beach, especially Mudlo Rocks , they will take your car if you are careless, check pictures of lost cars on the wall @ the Rainbow beach Hotel (good food there too BTW)
