I finally managed to find the time to fit the EGR Block and pro vent can to the Patrol.

I wont lie, getting the Provent too clear the ABS, heater hoses, A/C hoses and all the other bits was a bit of a pain but im happy with how it came up.

EGR Block was a bit fiddley but only took 30 min or so. I dont think it has any more power but it def is alot smoother when it comes on boost.

No check engine light or limp home so fingesrs crossed so now to try and find the time for the aux fuel filter.

Cheers

Its food/petrol rated, ive used it as breather hose (fuel & oil) on my race car for years, it turns a bit yellow after a while but its otherwise its fine. I couldnt find any oil resistaint black hose in Darwin and ive seen people use heater hose and that can go all soft and mushy with oil.

Do you have a Scan Gauge or similar to reset it?
I have not done the EGR block on mine yet as still deciding if I will drill a hole in middle of block to prevent fault light or buy a Scan Gauge.

I dont, ill just take it out on the wk end and put a 6mm hole in it to start with.

Bit of an up date and maby an idea for others with the same problem.

I was getting sick of draining the can by hand and making a mess so i made this set up and have tested it for a few mnts before posting it up on here.

All the bits inc the hose came from Enzed so your local should be able to help.

They only thing you may need to borrow is a nut sert kit, they are pretty expensive.

The rest is just hose, a hose clamp, ball valve, 2 barbed fittings and 2 hose support clamps.

The two holes are all rdy in the chassis rail but one needs opening up a tad to fit the nut sert.

Its about 30 min work once you have the bits and then draining the can is a 10 sec job.

Very neat indeed. Well done. Blocking the EGR should take no longer that two stubbies mate. Which pipe did you end up blocking?

The one closest to the front of the engine, i had some pics sent to me and found out that i had been sent the wrong blank plate so hence the confusion.
