GU Patrol tail lights - how to fit

Im after some advise in relation to the removal and fitting of the rear dummy tail lights that fit into the body of the Patrol

Hi mate, just pop the inner guard out and you can unscrew from the inside then they unclip.

The right side is accessed through the jack storage location.

Make sure that after you undo the two inside bolts, that you pull the light fittings straight backwards so you don't break the tabs off.

There is a top and bottom insert type tab which pulls out, but is a little tough to get out the first time

I've just been down that path.... Fitting the lights is easy. Wiring them up is a little more fiddly. I am sure that the folk here will help if you need it. If you have some soldering skills it helps alot..... What ever you do dont use scotch locks anywhere water can get to them.... Also use water proof plugs anywhere on the outside of the car.... Have fun.
