Turbo Problem

I have turbo gauge that shows 15-17 psi normally now peaking 20-25 psi and making a phissst noise any ideas thanks

What engine? Original turbo aftermarket? Any sort of boost controller? Any thing else changed like injectors or air filter setup etc?

hi 3L factory turbo chipped 3in pipe snorkel, sorry new to turbos it dose have a brass knob that the last owner said had somthing to do with the turbo but not sure

It doesnt sound like you have any mechanical issues. The brass knob might be a boost controller and it may just be as simple as an adjustment. Hopefully some of the 3L guys will be along shortly.

Check to see the intercooler pipes are tight as it does make a whistle noise when pipes not on pipes are loose
