Hi everyone,

I'm Sarah; we just bought our first Patrol a couple of months back. Have taken it out on some tracks around Warburton so far but looking forward to getting out more. It's a '91 GQ, dual fuel, done 250k. Pictures below -

Came with CB radio, standard bulbar, 31" All-Terrain tyres, and we've fitted some Narva spotties. Also apparently had a 2" lift but I think it might have been a while back and come down a bit because doesn't look that high compared to others with the same lift..

Next on the list: snorkel, then bulbar/winch .. then gotta save some $$$ for another lift.

Not sure I can answer forum questions but will try :)

Hi Sarah and welcome ,plenty of GQ freaks here that can help if you have any questions,
Do your Mods first and coils last, that way they can taylor make to suit the weight, look around for cheap 33"/285 tyres as well.
31s bit small these days on the tracks, might get hung up a few times, but that all adds to a great day out

Welcome Sarah. Love Warburton, used to swim in the river in the summer time. I remember once sitting there on the river bank and it was fairly quiet and not many people there. So a couple of women decided to plonk themselves in the middle of the river on some large rocks to sunbake... Naked. Very happy man I was.

thanks everyone! looking forward to chatting, have already picked up a few good tips just browsing through the forums! :)

@ threedogs, yep would love some 33s, gotta get the lift first though because it doesn't look like we can fit anything bigger than 32 at the moment :S

@ parksy, I love Warburton too, we go up every year - not for the naked women though hahaha

Update on my beloved GQ is that it has been STOLEN :'(

I made a post about it in General forum: http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/showthread.php?20921-My-GQ-stolen-(

Devastated. Haven't had it long, just started working on it this week.

Why do people think they're entitled to take other peoples cars?!?!?! So messed up.
