So I rebuilt my front end and now the front diff in 4WD (with hubs locked) seems super bitey/almost bindy. Given I was testing it on black top but even so it still felt really tight in there, I was thinking perhaps it was due to both wheels being driven and I'm in need of a wheel alignment (I'm thinking it's toeing out a bit).
My second thought was that it was the wrong diff oil. But having a look at the 4wdsystems website it says use manufacturer reccomended oil. I put 80W-90 in there which I'm sure is right so I'm happy with that.
Basically I just want peoples opinions on the matter. eg. is it because I tested on black top (which reading up on strongly suggests against this, oops), or do you think it's in need of a wheel alignment? or something else?
Cheers, Irvs
