Done a bit of searching but can't find much on this. Need to extend my brake lines for the lift I'm putting in. Just wondering if I will need a flare nut spanner to do this or can get away with just using normal open ends.

It's abs so need to replace lines in both side up front. On the passenger side one end is tucked in between compressor for air con and chassis. Looks like a bit of a prick to get to. Any one done this before and got any tips to make the job easier. Any advice much appreciated.

Sorry mate not familiar with the ABS setup. Do they have 2 lines from the control unit? 1 to each wheel? Mine without abs has a single central line that needs replacing and the ones to the wheel s you leave alone.

Yep got two lines from body/chassis to diff. Same in the rear, got two seperate identical hoses instead of the single on the non - abs models.

I am fairly sure it is two at the front and one at the rear....

Pretty sure it's two. At least unless I've started seeing things....it has happened before. Might be the gu8 has the two so the traction control can work?
