My Intro.

Hi,

I am a retired gent living with my wife in Far North Queensland. Interests are radio controlled model airplanes, reef fishing, and doing up old British motor bikes.

I have had my GQ Patrol for 9 years. It is a second hand import, model is Safari, all 24 volt, and top level equipped.

Motor is TD42, done 260K, and has had injectors replaced.

All plastic and rubber is now starting to fail, as it is 24 years old.

I love the car, and don't really want to get rid of it. It is very economical, getting 8 kilometres per litre around town, and 9-10 on a run.

I do all my own repairs where possible.
