Transfer cases gu

Hi all,

chasing anyone that may have swapped out a transfercase in a GU, issue, I can purchase a detonated GU 3l with Auto & case $1000, mine is a 3l manual, will the transfer case swap straight out, I cannot see for the life of me why it wouldnt, I have been told it may not bolt up, anyone the wiser here

never heard of them being different but i suppose its possible.
Why do you need one ?
