Hi Mate, rear has one of the best LSD in the game, may have been remove and diff lock fitted
Nissan fixed most probs by 2004, all common rail are fine from my take on it.

Normal things are a wobble at 80kph,,But for a great 4x4 off the show room floor
IMO a very good choice value for money, plus its live axle how goods that in this
day and age, expect 13/100k or better STD . Check all normal things underneath
looking carefully for scrape marks and touch up spray

I'm not a massive Patrol expert but have bought a 2007 CRD.
Your model will have a standard diff lock in the rear as well as traction control.
I believe the consensus on the motor is that it is fixed. You should have no problems if you look after it.
Nice buy! last of the real 4wds.

I have one and there have been very few reports of problems with the CRD?
Juser have to watch fuel quality.
