LPG Retune after snorkel install

Hi All,

I have a GU 4.8 and installed a snorkel on the weekend.

It primarily runs on LPG (KME injected system).

I heard a whisper that I now need a retune, is this necessery?

Wouldnt hurt it either way, i havent done one on mine since i installed the snorkel, but i have disconnected the battery a few times since then, reset everything.

Make sure your electrics are spot on , plugs leads etc, ever if you need to wipe them, pop in a new air filter
and go get the tune checked, not as expensive that way. If your present they might tell you its out then you get a tune
BTBH not much in it, sequenctial better system, even gas to all pistons

Hi Shaun100,I installed a snorkel on my 4.8l wouldnt run properly on LPG took it to a LPG specialist and they installed a ballance tube from the air box to the gas converter now runs normal no problems at all.
