Hello everyone, I had need the other day to wash and clean the engine bay of my 2007 3L ute. while I did the job I also had the battery disconnected a number of hours. When I did start it I discovered that the engine had lost so much power it wouldn't pull your hat off. I live in the country area of Nth Qld so the closed dealer help is 100Klm away and I'm worried about doing more damage driving it that far. I have no idea where to start looking for problems. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and regards, Tom.

Don't think you will do any damage
I think you have just got water into the electrics
Hopefully it will come good once it dries out

Taking it you used a Karcher style cleaner, Go buy a can of WD40 and spray where ever you see some connections.
I would then re spray with Lanotec and allow to dry, Check all earths, clean maf sensor as well, making sure its dry
when you re install, disconnect battery and clean terminals with green scotch pads,

If you haven't already, make sure you don't have a heap of water in your air box or a drowned air cleaner. Struggling to breathe could cause a loss of power.
