Its would be a pain in the ass if your wheeling every weekend, but I would go full road tyre on one set of rims and keep your muddies on a second set.......

Sorry 2 hear about the career change, Guess things didn't work out to well :(

Hope it all works out mate

Cheers

Thanks Todd...change is better than a holiday apparently so this place better be like sitting in a hot spring with a slab of beer and georgous woman...lol

Not even sure of budget trek but I do have a set of 5 desert duelers on Sunnys that are very low which I can use the rims. Probably need 4 tyres only looking at 500???

HTs would be cheap but no goog off road, at least AT will allow you a cross over Tyre
I use Cooper ATRs for every day use Even go to tyre place and get price on 50% tyres
or one of those tyre Import shops one in Carrick Drive in Tulla

I know they arent cheap but if you look at the BFG's the are renowned for high mileage. When I worked out the expense of my KM2's compared to a cheaper tyre with the mileage im getting out of them it works out 23% cheaper in the long run to buy the more expensive units.

The other option is to go a copy like a kelly tire etc.

Sorry AB that is terrible news bud. Sorry man!

If you need sway bars yell out mate I will give you a pair mate. My gift to you.

As for tyres I'd be inclined to grab a second hand set of HT tyres mate. You will grab a bargain. I will keep my eye out.

Pm me and tell me what your doing bud.

Good Bloody Luck mate!!!

Must admit you get heaps of Ks from BFG A/Ts.
Sold them very cheap to my Brother in law with 110K on them
BIL got another 30K out of them till one exploded.
One thing I did notice is they don't like being aired down,
Plus they tram track abit when tread gets down

Going against the grain of most but I've had a good run from copper atr's. Usually get 80,000 out of a set.. that's front to rear rotation.. there going to outlast the wrangler atr's easy.. looking at maybe 40,000 from the wranglers.. so ill be up for set of 4 soon..

I've got Bridgstone Dueler AT and i've done around 30k on them plus whatever the previous owner had done on them and they still got plenty of tread on them. The only bad thing is they slide on wet roads.....

$150 for a new tyre! Cheap crap but ok for HWY miles commuting for a bit mate! What size would you prefer? 15 or 16 and I'm thinking your better going back to a 31 or something just for commuting on?
