Stereo code

Hi lads

I have a feeling the battery on my patrol is on the way out.... Seemed to turn over a bit slower this am (weather colder) and the sat nav was all flickery until I had driven for 10 or so kms.

My question is how I get a hold of the stereo code as it wasnt in the books etc when I purchase the car... Any direction would be appreciated..

Nissan will have it..... give them the details of the car and it should be on file.

After the third time for me of not writing it down Holden made me come into there dealership to prove who I was... said it was always there policy??

radio doesnt have code for patrols my last 3 didn't anyway

Would they have a default number like either 8888 or 0000 or 1234 .

if you have to hook up a little battery ie 6 or nine volt to your pos and neg and swap batteries remember dont use anything until your reconnected you have limited power.

i do have this code its for the nissan satnav to change the settings that the repairers use i watched the bloke type that one into mine it is 6330. kev

Thanks kevin07... hadnt thought of issues with the satnav being disconnected as well..

Just phoned Nissan and they can give me the code no probs... Gave them VIN on the rego form and he said it didnt exist....double... triple checked.... no go.. said to check the plate on the car... hope its not the same as I gave him... where too then I wonder!!

in nsw you can do a history check on the car through rms. or it will be in the log
