Bit of a bug that I see all the time is all the wires from accessories held onto Aux and start batteries with "WING NUTS". Try not to over crowd posts as well. A better option is to use "nyloc" nuts normally 5/16th. A loose connection touring may/has caused fires.Use a nyloc nut and a quick spray of battery terminal stuff.
Loose wires can be the cause of a myriad of problems, use cable ties where possible and cut these with a knife not plyers as the next person to work on your 4x4 will cut himself on the cable tie end. This goes for the battery tray itself , if they bar holding the battery in place only has Wing nuts Change them as well, cheap as chips

Flush cut side cutters are better than a knife for zipties.

We sell cable tie tools at work that tension it perfectly and cut them off flush.... would be a pain in the rear to use all the time though!

I have a pair from the aviation industry, They are ok as long as its not to hard to put the cable tie on in the first place,
