GU 3lt turbo diesel belt or chain

does the 3 lt turbo run a timing belt or chain. i am looking at doing a service myself, do not feel like doing a belt if need be

Chains need maintenance too. There sould be a recommended interval to do it. Most if the time it's the tensioner that wears.
