Lacking accelaration

My 2004 GQST( engine ZD30) running okay but seems to lack a bit of acceleration when you put foot down (lack of power)

Might need to replace the fuel/air filters

Also give the MAF sensor a clean, and while doing your filters dis connect the battery for at least half an hour.

Hi,
How's the problem on your patrol?
My 2002 GU ST has the same problem specially lack of climbing acceleration. After cleaning incl. MAF sensor, found out there's compression leak and turbo seal leak. The mechanic told me to prepare for piston ring replacement to fix the problem or just endure for a while until ready for such maintenance. Any opinion on this matter guys? thanks
