Finally picked it up

Finally picked it up in Melbourne and drove it back to Qld..drove direct from melbourne to gold coast 22 hours..pulled the original stereo system out and installed a new pioneer unit..then gave it a wash , changed clothes and kept going up north to banana ...another 7 hours...got in 3.00 am in time to start work at 5.00 am...so this working week has been as productive as a chocolate watch !....I always end up putting myself under the pump hahahahahaha...
Wasnt as good as I first thought in regards to the paint..it seems that the whole car has been re-painted and a lot of clear used to maybe cover a not so good paint job...looks great in the photos and from a distance but the imperfections and some runs rear up when up close...it is actually un-molested and had nothing ever added to it and runs well mechanically....thought I would get more mileage from the gas ....430 klm from 90 ltrs ? at about 115 klms per hour....got more from petrol from only a 70 ltr tank ?...but anyway it is what I have to work with now and will just push on and start to transform it to what is needed then get it back to the gold coast

Gas/petrol sound about right i dont think you,ll improve the gas much more than 18lper100ks depending on wether its tuned to gas or petrol good luck with your build

sorry about that..I am computer illiterate and couldnt work out how to get from the new phone to computer...so having worked that out and re-sizing ...
yeh a GQ 1993...the original pics in my introduction were from carsales.com so now I have some of my own...will post as I transform it to lifted and bars and wheels etc...I have to try and do all this while I am working and get things sent here so it may be a bit slow..


OK..I cant seem to insert pics from my documents ?...it is asking me for URL ?...I have inserted pics in my introduction but cant remember how I did it then...they were from my documents ?...maybe someone can advise me how ..(i am clicking on the icon for insert image )...cheers

Try this mate

Once the app has downloaded, go to where your apps are, tap on tapatalk to open it. This will then open up but yours will be blank.

To search for the forum you want, tap on the search symbol, the type in the website you want, then tap on the enter symbol - mine is highlighted in green

then tap on the website, which will then be added to your tapatalk account as shown in images above, just give what ever forum you want to go into a tap and sign in as normal.
