july 2001 st11 4.5l petrol snorkel

ive just booked arb to fit safari snorkel to our 4.5l petrol wagon and have been told there is a problem with that year patrol re snorkel fitment/kit parts as its a bitza build date july 2001,and standard kit wont fit straight up.anyone shed any light on this specific model,not pre 3/00.thanks danny.

Never heard of it. There's only one SS snorkel available for a 4.5L. Although safari did update part numbers about 12 mths ago. Some slight mods to the rams came with the new part numbers.

ive since spoken to guests 4x4 and the bloke there said much the same,there is a problem.worst comes to worst theyll have to fit a custom setup or ill finish it.

Can you post a pic up of you engine bay (aircleaner side) , be interested to see whats different from my 99, even though i still made small additions/mods to mine as i was not 100% happy with fitment
