I was going to paint mine but ended up fitting it Unpainted black and it is unnoticeable. Don't bother mate. The black flows up from the dash and does not look wrong at all.

Don't regret it at all.

I took my ashtray into a local auto paint supplier. They used an "electronic eye" to match the paint and made up a pressure spray can. Perfect match and cost $20. After giving the pod a couple of coats I even gave the top of the ash tray a coat to cover the scratches.

Autobahn was going to make up a can for me so I could spray a part for mine, but I just got my local panel beater to do it for $20, so I didn't bother.

I was told that pillar pods were illegal, so mine sits in the shed. Was I told fibs? Cause if I was, it's goin in on the weekend!
