Hi lads and ladetts, just wondering does the gq Work shop manual on here give a detailed description/image of where they all go as I have hose's disconnected everywhere(just purchased the vehicle) can anyone draw up a diagram?

Cheers Justin.

Hi Justin

Here's a pic of the front end if the engine, I will take a picture of the aft end tonight.
Hope it helps.

No dramas. Bought the hose from eBay. Cheap and a good way to eliminate any possible vacuum leaks.

What is it, Silicone tubing? What size is it, 1/8"?

Yep silicon tubing. Can't remember the size I ordered but 1/8 sounds right.
Lucky it's blue, makes it heaps easier to follow.

Should mention, the line running from the purge canister to the inlet manifold is larger than 1/8. Maybe 5/16. cant remember, but either way, it's larger than the other vacuum lines.

Thank you so much! :) I tried taking photos of mine but its no comparison to the blue. Makes it so easy to see! Think you might be starting a new trend with that hose hahah.

Cheers Justin.

any of you fellas know how to disconnect all the electric connections on these engines? Injectors ect... Do you have to pull out the little metal clip or is there an easier way?

Parksy

Yep small flat blade screwdriver to pull the metal retainer out. Then electrical connector just comes apart.

Yeah that's what I've been doing, it's such a pain in the a** lol. It's a bit easier with a seal pick though I found.

Thanks for the photo's (I know its an old thread!).. The di%^ head that attempted my manual conversion, busted sensors and cut plugs everywhere. Lost my manual as well. So now I have to Google evrything to figure out what goes where!

Thanks for the awesome photos.
