4wd high with hubs unlocked

Is driving with 4wd engaged high range at highway speed bad in a gq with the hubs unlocked? I did this by accident yesterday until I noticed a bit of shaking going on and realised the shifter was not fully forward.
I need to add in the 4wd warning light into the ba cluster somehow.

It should not effect it some manufacturers recommend this is done every now and again to lubricrate the transfer case,
just NEVER lock hubs and put it in H4wd for any HWY driving big $$$$$

If they sit un used they tend to bump up and down slighty causing wear
