Hey peoples stumbled across this site while google imaging patrols so thought id join up and show you all my uterus
picked it up 3 weeks ago, had 35 inch muddies which i absolutely hated the noisy pieces of shit and as i found out pretty quickly scrubbed offroad due to only 2 inch lift, the car was filthy as was the bay and it was in need for a service.
92 gq ute 4.2 diesel full coil cab
hothouse green paint job
2 inch lift
33 inch falken wildpeak at's
bullbar and xxx hid spotties
safari snorkel and k&n filter
uhf
dual batteries
extractors and 2.5 inch manta exhaust system
custom extended tray (2.4m x 1.9m) with full waterproof zip up canopy
reverse spotties
thats about it for now i think.
Since i brought it iv done a full service including new heavy duty radiator
33 inch all terrains (best investment ever)
and i put the full exhaust on which has helped a bit too.
Not to mention a buff, polish and thorough engine bay degrease.
I live down south of wa and intend on using this for fishing and camping mainly which is great with the canopy and tray as can roll out a swag and stay dry as it gets bloody wet down here in albany but theres plenty of tracks/beaches to explore.
Future plans include new suspension all round (going to keep 2 inch though as its as high as i can go legally) and maybe a turbo down the track. Have been on the beach a few times seems to go very well with the tyres on 20psi, plan on doing alot more this weekend whilst on the hunt for salmon.
Anyway let me know what you all think of the ute will get more pics on weekend these are only 2 i have (yes thats an electric motor, trying not to scare the bream :tease: )

went out today fishing (unsuccesfully) and went for a decent drive on beach/dunes car goes great thanks for all your feedback, something is now rubbing big time in the front end so thats a job for the weekend, might have pushed it a bit too hard today but thats half the fun not overly worried have another car anyway :)

that rubbing is probably your tyres rubbing on your flares when you go over bumps.

i had the same problem when i had standard springs and 33in tyres doesnt happen now i lifted it

all sorted now was very minor issue.
It doesn't scrub at all suprisingly, definately did with the 35s though and it doesn't have standard springs

shes got 2 inch kingsprings but im looking at a full brand new kit
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Patrol-GQ-2-50mm-Coil-Suspension-Lift-Kit-with-Extended-Shocks-/360645159611?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53f8206abb&_uhb=1
that looks decent for the money or am i better off spending a bit extra for tough dog old man emu or something along those lines? ironman is cheap too but have heard bad stories about them.
Other thing iv found whilst trolling ebay is this
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Safari-Patrol-4-2L-TD42-TD42T1-GU-GQ-Y60-Turbo-Manifold-Turbocharger-/190786035472?clk_rvr_id=472944338903
seems cheap which kinda worries me, very tempted to just bite the bullet and order it though
