Hey fellas,

I've finally got my hands on a 4.2gu after looking for one I could afford for around 6months.

It's a 99DX originally NA but has been fitted with a DTS turbo kit.

I'm not new to 4x4 but this is my first patrol and first diesel/turbo so need to learn a lot fast!!

I'm looking Into getting some gauges (boost and pyro) in a pillar pod, can anyone recommend any cheaper brands that are reliable? I've looked at auto meter but they're very pricey!!

Cheers

Welcome mate! Nice truck.

Autometer are expensive because they are a great bit if gear and if you can stretch the budget they would be a good purchase.

Ive had problems with a speco tacho on my old car, but slow moving gauges are probably alright by them!

Ended up getting auto meter with a black face, looking at getting Autron gauge pod as they seem more square to the driver, but they need to be painted.
anyone had experience with interior paints and know of the closest paint colour for K trim?
