Hello,

In the market for two Cat batteries and I unexpectantly need to be in Melbourne tomorrow morning. Can anyone tell me where I can get Caterpillar batteries on the west side? Assuming William Adams in Spencer St Sunshine have them but to late to ring and confirm.

Cheers

Thanks Darren, that's William Adams - address shows as Spencer St Sunshine but that's the one I meant. It's going to be a flying visit so hope someone can confirm.

I'm pretty sure thats the service department and in Airport west is the manufacturing plant. Best bet would be that Boundary rd Might have a Parts department aswell as service.

Just watch the cameras mate, theres one on the Boundary rd exit and the sneaky dogs set them up behind the walls throughout the rd works, and no dramas mate any time

And the cameras do work , last two speeding fines both on the ring road.

Hi Mego, Cat batteries come highly recommended and the price is pretty good. Also I had already purchased them before you posted the Msg. Must add that William Adams were very helpfull with advice and I'm happy to recommend them if you're after a Caterpillar battery.

wow so cheap!

Why did you not go for the 175-4390 and 1000CCA? what was the price? i assume that you will use the 175 for your cranking battery?

Think thats the one I purchased as a second battery MRTD but it did not fit , about 25mm too long - darn it . They refunded it no probs but .

Ah good question, it wasn't raised as an option during the discussion - maybe not in stock. Now don't get me regretting my decision. ;) Would love to use the 175 as the cranker but to large, it suits a grader.
