Been offroading today and once more have smashed my indicators and erm re-arranged the wings :driving2:

and from inside the truck , it's the last few seconds :p

So I reckon I'm going to bin them and fit some LED ones on the bonnet above the headlights instead.
I've got the side lights in the head lights already :D
Might even shorten the front eventually :devilred:

Haha love it mate!, love the "makeitfit" attitude.
But...... Maybe you should have put side hoops on your bullbar? Thats why they're there, to stop ya smashing the indicators

Where would you put leds as you need ppl at 90 degrees to see whats happening.I was thinking along the lines of the tojo FJ40,
Not sure how they would look on a patrol as only One guard Not 2 like FJ40 and landrover,
Does the sun ever come out over there lol

I'm going to build an exo cage off the ends of my winch bumper thing eventually :) Will be 45mm tube though. Brush guards aren't up to it. My old bull bar "ROOBAR" ? took a hit and just bent a bit and then ofcourse bent my wing :@ So the fit list goes on...............................cheers ;)

The "SUN" you say ? Just googled that and erm, er, not often lol
Thinking LED onthe bonnet and one on the side of the wing , repeater. That'll fix it ;)
On closer inspection this morning the whole plastic grill thing has taken a pounding too, so I'll make something to replace that too I think.

Charger on hold till I get my axle swap done. Then there'll be a week or two while it's on stands. It needs the bottom pulley modifying for the poly V belt drive.
Just can't face not having it available for mud runs at the weekends ;)

Guard chopping is simply taking a few inches off the wheel arch so it can better accommodate larger wheels at full lock without them scrubbing on the guards.

Cant you make tube front guards with sheetmetal on top no sides.
That way a Landrover/FJ 40 tyle indicator assy will fit, do you get where I'm going???
Sort of buggy style. Can draw rough pic for you if need be

Yeh I think that's what I'm in the process of doing. Going to use same size tube as winch bumper and folloow the shape of the "guard" ;)
My guards are trimmed a bit already for clearance .
Argh too many jobs on my wishlist :/
Ta for your help, a drwg might be handy or a link, cheers :-)
