Checked out the rear diff housing on my 83 Mq sd33 4 speed manual swb today to find its got a 3.45 ( if the housing is correct) at the back. Problem I have is when I drove it home she was screaming here tits off at 110. If the stock ratio is over 4, I would assume she would cruise at 110 at a low rev? I dont have a tacho, but she sounded like she was really pushing up around the rev limit.
Is it right to be almost redlining at 110 with a 3.45 diff or is there some other adjustment I can do tune wise that will lower the rev's at that speed?
