Gearbox oil

Hi guys n gals

Chasing some advise on gearbox oil.
I changed mine 2 months ago and used Penrite.

Now that it is cooling down in Orange my gears feel sticky early morning. Going from reverse to 1st.

What grade oil mate?

Hi, after a lot of research I used Castrol VMX-80 when I replaced the gearbox oil in my GUIV 4.8 manual gearbox. Before this it was hard to get into gear when it was cold. It is a lot better now. Still a little tight for the first couple of minutes, but fine after that. I live on sunshine coast, so weather a bit warmer than down south though. Cheers
