Couldn't afford a new radiator or the 197$ they wanted to replace the top tank ( and that was if I removed the radiator and took it to them )

So time to improvise I got a pvc threaded barbed tail drilled and tapped a hole in the filler trimmed it not to foul the cap locked and sealed it with locktite hydra seal.

and for a bit more peace of mind added some epoxy putty .

how it looks finished not flash but should be ok till I get back to work :smiley_thumbs_up:

Topped it up with coolant and went for a drive and no sign of leaks :clapping:

Good work mate, should keep you going. Did you realise you could have added this to your original Radiator post? no need to start a new thread.

Just saved yourself $197 , quick spray of black paint and all is good.
Could of screwed in a brass tail as well but fixed and thats the main thing
