Gq oil pressure light

Hi all

Since owning the car, the oil pressure light has never worked. The pressure guage works, so I've got oil pressure, but id like it if the light worked as well. Have checked the bulb, and all good there. What things should I look for? Does the light run off the same sender for the pressure guage?
Engine is a tb42e.

Have you disconnected it from the sender the light should come on if it doesn't it is a wiring issue if it does its a sender issue
