hi guys got a question
the gq I bought is a base model and
doesn't have LSD but when I purchased the car
I was given an LSD and bearing kit for the diff
what's the rough cost of getting the LSD
shimmed and installed with the new kit
also I'm in penrith western Sydney
also is there a difference with bearing etc with
drum brakes which I have and discs?
thanks guys

Mate it will have an LSD. It might not work but it will definitely be an LSD.

I think some of the early base models did get released without an LSD.
It's a relatively straight forward job. I would think it'll be 500 to a grand, depending on how much the workshop needs the business....

If in doubt, just swap the whole rearend for a LSD disc brake one. Got to better all round and you can pick up a whole rear end cheaper than $500
