First off, massive thanks to this forum for the advice from all you good people, very helpful guys...............:clapping:
Ok, the blanking plate has to go between the existing washer and the valve, it will not go fit between the existing plate and the body, the existing plate is flanged. You can just see it here, the blank plate has a wee lug on it.

Next up ,you need to remove the butterfly from the intercooler outlet. This one:

Butterfly is held on with two screws, undo them and slide the butterfly out.Disconnect the vacum pipe and block it up with a small bolt and /or fold it up and tie wrap it tight so that it does not suck air.
My mate had a purpose built on spare though, so I just used that.

Oil catch can needs fitting, well I did, not sure if it needs one or not. The can fits inline, the pipes just run to the pipe along the top of the manifold and one on the body, pretty straight forward stuff.

Immediate improvement in driving, starting and it appears the fuel consumption is better.
Also, all the pipes and unions were full of oil, so I cleaned out what I could, Is it advisable to take off and clean out the intercooler as well, if so, what is the best method please guys?
Oh, if you view this three dogs, here is my front tow point, will pm it to you if you don`t respond to this thread fella.
