I ran a wrecker here in Sydney
I was after a 3" exhaust after being told
Yes I have one
I asked for a price and was told ill email to you
I had to travel past them today
So I stopped in and was told I don't have a price
I then asked if I could get a price
The guy went to his office
Then came out and served another
Guy
Not sure but I didn't think I was in the wrong for wanting a price
Anyone else ever been treated like that at a wreckers?

I'd find another wrecking yard....

Do they want your money or not?

Never, but I'm not a quiet guy when I think someone is being a prick. Just go somewhere else mate, not worth your time.

Some times people have to deal with a lot of time wasters and the genuine people end up having to coping it. Calling a wrecker for an aftermarket exhaust isn't ideal unless you know he specifically deals with Patrols for eg or an import wrecker where they would regularly have that sort of thing.

You best bet would be to call an exhaust center or a mechanic that does these sort of things or search the net!
