Am considering upgrade to my 06 ute seats (2.5 seater ) and am wondering if suspension seating is workable off road or does it have problems bouncing around etc. good or bad -let me know your experience

I had KAB 411 or something like that as my back is stuffed,{16 Ops} great on the HWY.
Terrible offroad too much travell, Now I have a Strato 3000 with lumber and its great.
You can get Strato seat with suspension base but having had one no, not a fan.
It tends to bump you into roof ala trampoline style every 2nd bump.
XR6 seats or clumsydoor fit ok check threads or Mego will show us His lol

I pulled the suspension seats out of my MK.

If you get seats - eunsure that they are rated for you weight - the ones in the MK (Factory) where only rated to 100K - i weigh 1120 kept bottoming out

At that weight I would think you would fall through the MK floor! *L*

Not overly straight forward to fit (mostly coz I couldn't find anywhere that someone had done them and posted the details so had to come up with my own design), but just installed XR6 seats into mine - I weigh in at a very athletic (ahem ... cough, cough) 116kgs, and find them fantastic - fit better than the commodore seats and drove from Hervey Bay to Brissy (Easter traffic - about 5 hours) the day after I did them, and was very pleased with the comfort.

No problem mate - glad you'll "take one" ... after the R&D session working them out (that's about 3 cartons), and the engineering to fabricate (2 cartons) and the install time (2 cartons), you're looking at about $280 a pair!!! lol

How about I pay you in beer, and help you drink that beer??

If you're happy and you know it tap a post!
