Hi guys names Andrew and this is my first patrol 89 GQ 4L picked it up last week with only 212000 on the clock and a new auto so thought id upgrade from my jeep XJ :wink: witch is now for sale :) and the wife is happy again, and im hoping no more money pit!! until i finish with the patrol ( 2' lift spoties and a few ods and ends) hoping to get her setup for Fraser this September and then up to far north Qland around Xmass and in a year or 2 all the way around Oz

What engine did you buy? You said 4L so did you get a GQ or an MQ? Left spring or coil? 1988 was the crossover year

Regardless welcome here bud. Owned 7acres in Teesdale and sold about 5 years ago and still miss the land. Don't miss the commute though.

GQ 4.2L ? im use to putting 4.0 from my jeep :( its on dedicated gas but im going to put a 150L long ranger back in it and bugger the gas of all together
