Welcome to the Forum. Great mob this. I too have a 98 GU 4.5l on dual fuel.
Tank is 106 Litres usable and I use 18.5 Litres per 100 k's on a trip. Not sure of the Fuel Consumption on Petrol. Only have the original Sub Tank for Petrol which is 30 Litres I think.

g,day bob
18.5 well i must have worked mine out wrong,if i can get that i would be happy
the most gas i can get in thr tank is 96lt and if i run it to empty i get 420ks out of it or 356ks with the tent trailer on
the sub tannk is the same as yours

i thought i was getting 30lt per 100ks

Roofy
on the above figures you are using 22.857 Litres per 100K's and with the Tent Trailer 26.9663 Litres per 100 K's

My Truck is Stock standard with an Aluminium Bull Bar and no Roof Rack. The last time I checked the Fuel usuage I travelled to Dandenong from Bendigo and filled up at the Raceway on the way home.
I had travelled 250 K's and it took 46.3 Litres ie 18.52 litres per 100 K's. Most of this trip was on the Freeway . Around town the usuage would not be as good as this. The way i work out fuel usuage is that I divide the Litres by the 100 kilometres ie 46.3 divided by 2.5 (250 K's)

Bob

Hey buddy, This is my opinion only. There is probably plenty that would disagree.
Not a lover of petrol / gas for off roading.
My Trol is the first diesel i have owned and i will never go back to petrol.
4.5 is a good motor, Auto, Nah! I am a manual man, again there is prob' plenty that would disagree.
GU top choice buddy, Great shape, Great ride,

Cheers Pete
