Hey, Fuel pump in my GQ is cactus, to cut a long story short i have mounted a carby sender assembly into my belly tank as my EFI sender assembly is ruined and i can't use it.
I am going to run an external pump (i'm thinking VL commodore pump or a generic walbro). I would like the pump to be easy to get to, preferably in the engine bay.
My question is, can i have the pump that far from the fuel tank?
If i can't mount it there i'm going to have to mount it near the fuel lines are the rear but i don't really want to with all the mud/water etc that it would be subjected to, not to mention the lack of space.
Has anyone ever fitted an external pump to an EFI GQ?
Any and all suggestions will be much appreciated :clapping:
