Hello I have a question, my car has RPM Limiter?.
Itīs a GY 60 1992 TB42 Patrol.

Thanks Winnie, but when you put the engine rpm near the red scale of the indicator, this begins to fail. May be is a problem of my car. Can anybody tell my what it can be?

Interesting point Scotty. Last time I was playing with my dissy I noticed the spring etc on the rotor button and was unsure what it was for exactly. That makes a lot of sense as the TB42 are limited in some way because they won't rev over about 5500 rpm. Not that I rev it that hard in mine but I have a few mates that are a bit more gun ho!

Yeah I suppose if the spring gets old it may release at a lower rpm.

But with the TB42 carby, it could be a range of things stopping it from revving freely.
