Just realised the TD42 GQ tail shaft wont bolt up to the GU RD28 diff.... Does any one know if I can just change over the yoke flange or companion flange as the manual calls it? and if so where would I get such a random part?
I am converting a 1999 GU RD28 wagon into a Td42. The engine and box came from a 1997 GQ wagon.
Comments/advise appreciated.

swb? they should be the same. . . . ????

you can flip the tailshaft, so both ends are the same. and any old diff carrier is the same in a h233. . . . . . so all the other ends are the same i would think.

To get it going aim go in to try changing the gearbox flanges over and run the 2.8 tail shafts for now.
