I had noticed the wagon's body roll had increased considerably a few months ago after going 4wheeling so thought I'd check it out, turned out I'd broken the rear sway bar.it didn't bother me much so I left it.but then the wife noticed the difference also ... So while fixing it I was surprised to see how it had broken.

Thats Better.

Yes i have seen a Broken rear sway bar on a heavy tour GU, in fact he had broken it more than once in the time he had owned the car!

I am chasing a rear sway bar for a GU at the moment so will be interested to hear how much you get stung for a replacement??

I got one from a wreckers and it was $130.. I thought it was a bit steep for what it is but I was kinda over looking for one as no one seemed to have one

To be honest mega I did not know extension brackets existed . Thought you just got longer connecting rods , so thanks for showing me . learnt something today .

Yea I also looked at the extended rods but I couldn't beat 15$ , wouldn't have though it would have bent though. I might remove the mounts and get some 2" dislocating ones,im a little undecided ATM
