Guys
I have a 4.5 GU with a Nissan bullbar, I can't see where the winch mounts on to. Is there a mounting plate I need to buy?

You may find the winch cradle will bolt to the 2 captive nuts UNDER each side of chassis
What style bar??? alloy or steel

Steel I think. It looks similar to the one belonging to the member you guys are helping out.

2 Bolt holes you can see and the other 2 you cant. Its generally pretty obvious if it is a winch bar.

I think it's a winch bar, it has the top plate cover for the solenoid and the area to bolt on the cable rollers.

NP,
If it is the factory Nissan bar then it is made by ARB to Nissan's own specs, with a slot at the front for a 9000 pound Warn Winch max. I have a Warn M10000 which apparently doesn't fit (I didn't try it as i was told by Nissan themselves it wouldn't fit so sold off the bar and put on a normal ARB Bar )
I am fairly sure from looking at it that you didn't need any extra winch cradles to fit a winch.

My winch won't fit. Had one of our mechanics look at it today. It needs a cradle, or I too may have to sell and replace.

Sell it and get a nice bar, that it compatible with your winch.
It'll be easier
