so today i was replacing a fuse in and behind the fuse panel i could see a little red light everytime i bumped the car, so i dug deeper, this is what happens when i tap the car, sounds loud in video but its only a slight tap, its so sensitive

problem I have is the car has a aftermarket alarm, but i never got the remote for it when i purchased car, im presuming its deactivated then, but im curious anyone know what would happen if i pressed the button, I know its simple to say press it and find out, but im scared haha, what if i press it and the alarm goes off and i cant stop it lol

also does anyone know if you can get replacement transponders for stinger alarms?

x2 with taslucas.
You got nothing to loose.
But i'd find the back-up alarm first so you can yank that out if it doesn't want to stop

Nah don't think that hammer will be big enough... I had an aftermarket alarm in my last two cars... ripped them out of both. Nothing but hassles! It was the first thing I asked the guy I bought my latest car off hahaha.

is removing a DIY thing or is a auto sparky required, I confident with car electronics. I do all my own work when it comes to electrics, just wondering if removing alarm though is too far involved.

Just found this in my owners manual that came with car, hopefully will help

I'm with Winnie. If it was my vehicle I would remove it.

Aftermarket alarms cause nothing but problems.

There not hard to remove.

Hi mate

My dad ysed to have an aftermarket alarm which used to have button like that to disarm if remote woild not work. You had to put key in ignition turn to acc, then push button. This would disarm the alarm. Not sure but could be what it is.
