Back up/reverse switch.

Gidday all, can someone tell me the physical location of the reverse switch for a manual 2012 ST patrol. Needed for the reverse camera trigger....

Just as easy to run it from the reverse lights. Youll be running a video cable from the camera anyway.

After a fair bit of trawling thru circuit diagrams and crawling under the car I found the two yellow wires that come out of the gear box. They roughly run under the drivers seat and go up towards the engine compartment. They get lost in the clutter just above the starter motor. If I can locate them closer to where the head unit is I will pick up the reverse camera trigger from there. Might be easier than running the length of the car to the reverseing lights....

GQs and GUs yes. I'm not sure about the earlier models.
