Hey all from what i have read the transfer case breather connects straight to a barb on the gearbox. From there its supposed tom tee of or something and head towards the engine bay yes? Now i have pulled the short hose of that goes fromm the transfer case to the gearbox in hoping to remove the barbs so i can but my breather kit on. Can the barbs be removed are they just screwed in like the front and rear diff.

The breather hoses on my Rb30's transfer case, gear box and front diff all connected together and terminated in the passenger side mud guard. I just cut the steel tube, and extended the hose from there, up to the top of the fire wall. I extended the rear diff hose, to run the length of the vehicle to terminate next to the front breather.

That is really all that is needed too. Inspect the factory lines but then just extend from the end off the copper line at the left front up to the top of the fire wall.
I really see no point cutting off a perfectly good factory hose barb to the tap something in? Will your hose from your breather kit fit over the barb ?? Put it in boiling water for a bit and see if you can slip it over the barb if its a little small?

no it wont fit in. the hose is designed to b pushed into the fitting like an air locker fitting so it wont go. then the standard hose wont it into the fitting i have in the engine bay.
this is the kit i have.

Cut 150mm off the end of that roll of hose and stick the end in a coffee cup of boiling water for a minute. You might be surprised how it goes on that barb. On the phone it looks like a 5mm or more likely 6mm hose so should stretch over???

Or go to bunnings and buy a male barb the right size with a female thread on the other end and screw the pneumatic fitting into it.
Or.... Cut it off and tap out the transfer, gear box and each of the diffs ;)
