What size speakers...

I have searched but there was no definative answer....

GU8 2012 ST. Can anyone tell me 100% what size speakers are in the doors. I have my new pioneer AVIC-F40BT sitting ready to be installed. I want to do the install of that and the speakers all in one session.

BTW. These guys are pretty good price and service wise.... Got the head unit from them....

Surprised you couldnt find anything ,I'm 99.999% sure someone did a DIY and used 6" speakers
forgotten who it was now, only recent too.

yeah 6 inch on front and rear doors as i am an installer and did my own

6 1/2 front and rear in my GU8 straight in no modifications,gold series cobolts splits in front,gold series cobolts 3 ways in rear doors

mines an 01 wagon and 6'' speakers fitted front and back with no problems except braking a few of the door trim clip things

I fitted 6.5" in my GU II - had to file down some of plastic bracket in the door. Took 5 mins. But this was due to the speakers having a larger bracket on the back than normal.

Speakers not in yet. But I have the head unit installed and fired up. Looks like a good unit so far. The sound quality is noticably better even with the factory speakers. With a bit of luck speakers should be here tomorrow... Then the door pulling apartfun begins. BTW, it appears that nissan have not really followed standards with their power to the audio unit. Luckily I took the time to meter out all the 12V switched and un switched wiring.....Could have led to some smoke escaping.....
